alphabroder Deco Order Submission
We are pleased to offer online submission for decoration orders via email and through our website.
Guidelines for Email Orders
Typed purchase orders and related artwork should be emailed to [email protected]. Please note we are unable to accept hand-written orders. Complete email orders must include:
- Company billing information
- P.O. number
- Item number
- Item color
- Item quantity
- Imprint method
- Imprint color
- Imprint location
- Art instructions
- In-hands date must be clearly marked
- Shipping instructions (ship to address(es), ship method, and shipping account # if applicable)
- P.O. must have a complete ship to address, or Drop Ship addresses on our Drop Ship template, to proceed with decoration.
- Clean and properly formatted artwork. Please see Artwork Requirements link to page for details.
- Established account in good standing, credit approval or receipt of credit card information (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover).
- P.O. number
Complete purchase order (including art) must be received before 4:00 p.m. EST to count for that day. Orders are processed by 2 different departments. Therefore, please include both art and order information in the body of the e-mail with all submissions or resubmissions.
A must-ship date is not accepted. Only a clearly marked in-hands date is honored as an in-hands date. If you want your order to ship on a must-ship date, you must include the corresponding in-hands date on the P.O. as well. If no in-hands is clearly listed on the order, the factory reserves the right to ship to to 10 working days from receipt of the complete purchase order. The factory will not contact customers when the in-hands date is not provided. Factory will not absorb upgrade freight costs when notified of pending event date after order has been placed.
For un-established accounts, production begins upon credit approval and/or receipt of prepayment.
Order acknowledgment will serve as notice of the estimated ship date unless the email address is not provided. Orders may be rescheduled up to two days after acknowledgment of the ship date. The absence of any of the above-stated information will deem the order incomplete and will delay production time.

Guidelines for Web Orders
Placing a decoration order from our website, www.alphabroder.com, is easy. Begin by navigating to the product you wish to decorate and selecting the "DECORATED" tab from the Product Display. After entering at least the minimum quantity for decoration and selecting a deco method, click on "DECORATE NOW" to begin the decoration process in our online deco-configurator. Follow the prompts onscreen to select deco location(s), upload your art, and submit your order. You may combine multiple decoration projects into a single online cart for checkout by following these steps.
alphabroder Art Requirements for Decorated Orders
Thank you for trusting alphabroder with your decoration projects. Our team of experts is able to accept and modify many art file types for decoration, but you can streamline your order process and reduce fees by following these guidelines for production-ready art.
Art File Formats and Sizes
Art submitted via web order may be up to 10.0 MB. Email orders may contain art up to 5.0 MB in size.
For fastest production, artwork should be submitted in vector format with all fonts converted to outlines. Accepted vector file formats include: SVG, EPS, PDF and AI. EPS files are also accepted for embroidery only.
For full color applications such as VibraTecSM 4-Color Process Printing and 4-Color Process Digital Labels non-vectored art can be accepted as Photoshop (CC and earlier, 300 dpi at 100 percent size only) and TIFF (hi res, b/w only) files that are saved as 8-bit CMYK or grayscale.
For other applications, orders may be placed with raster formats JPEG and PNG. Please be aware that your order will be delayed while our Art Department prepares these file types for production, and additional fees may apply.
We do not accept either Word files or CorelDraw files for art submission. ZIP files are also not accepted.
Art Charges
For orders with art files that require improvements or preparation for production, Art Handling is billed at $39 per decoration location. Our team of experts will be in touch with proofs for art changes before producing your order.
Art Sizing
Artwork will be sized to maximum available imprint area unless otherwise specified on Purchase Order for email orders or Art Notes for web orders.
Email Submission
To avoid delays please submit the art with the order at: [email protected].
When emailing artwork, the subject line must always include the P.O.# and the body of the email must always contain contact information and any additional information which will help process the art quickly and accurately. Orders without correct P.O.# referenced will be rejected by the factory. We recommend submitting a mockup of the art on the item for comparison. Factory cannot be responsible for errors otherwise.
QR Codes
Vectoring and ink bleed can slightly alter the QR Codes and therefore, the factory cannot guarantee readability. Not recommended.
alphabroder Standard Ink Colors
The following ink colors are available as standard for alphabroder silk screen, pad print and screen print projects. Please note that all inks are coated.
Additional pantone inks are available for a fee. Please include color matching requests in your Purchase Order for email order submission. For web order submission, you may select from standard or Pantone colors during the art submission process. Our team of experts will reach out with any questions regarding color selection and matching to ensure your order is just right.
alphabroder Standard Thread Colors
The following thread colors are available as standard for alphabroder embroidery projects. Note that we use Isacord #40 100% polyester thread.
Please include color matching requests in your Purchase Order for email order submission. For web order submission, you may select from the thread palette or provide PMS colors for matching during the art submission process.
